Aged and Disabled Waiver

Aged & Disabled (A&D) Waiver Services

Supporting Independence, Health, and Dignity at Home

At AnointedSaints Home Care, we specialize in providing high-quality, non-medical in-home care under the Indiana Aged and Disabled (A&D) Waiver. This Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program allows seniors and individuals with physical disabilities to receive essential daily support in their own homes instead of moving into a nursing facility.

What is the Indiana Aged & Disabled Waiver?

The Aged and Disabled Waiver is an Indiana Medicaid program designed to provide home care services, personal support, and healthcare coordination to eligible individuals. Instead of receiving care inside a long-term care facility, participants receive waiver funding to bring professional caregivers, attendant care, and family caregiver stipends directly into their residence.

Whether you or your loved one needs help with daily hygiene, meal preparation, live-in family care support, or transportation to medical appointments, the A&D Waiver provides the financial framework to make staying at home safe and affordable.

Who Qualifies for A&D Waiver Services in Indiana?

  • Age or Disability Requirement: Individuals aged 65 or older, or individuals of any age documented as blind or disabled by Social Security or the State of Indiana.
  • Level of Care Requirement: Must meet the Nursing Facility Level of Care (NFLOC) criteria, requiring hands-on assistance or supervision with daily living activities.
  • Financial Eligibility: Must qualify for Indiana Medicaid (Full Coverage / Waiver Medicaid) based on income and asset guidelines set by the FSSA.
  • Residential Setting: Must live in a private residence, apartment, or approved community setting (not a hospital or nursing home).
